about

The 3rd rd full length of this Ukrainian project is a new exploration of the tribal-industrial Music World. Operator Ruga Roo deals with progressive industrial formats and this new opus simply is the confirmation of his great talent.
The opening tracks are simply mind-blowing. Danceable rhythms turning into trance and layers of industrial sounds plus some dark atmospheres are directly taking the listener by surprise. “You Worship Me” even has some IDM flavor on top. The more mysterious-like “Atavism” is a perfect successor to the opening track and a solid appetizer for “Sew Your Face To My Face”. This is a real essential track featuring all the ingredients of Na-Hag plus some outstanding arrangements. It’s a pumping piece of tribal-industrial music, which might appeal for the fans of This’Morn Omina.
The power and fascination moves on a constant way although I’ve a little preference for tracks like “The Demon Inside Me” and “Ninth Fragment Of My Body” for its progression in sound. In a more sensual way I like the slower rhythmic on “Among The Lemic Ones”.
“Obscurant” is also hiding a kind of soundtrack experiment entitled “Washing Blood-Stained Hands Under The Rain”. It remains a rather dark inspired cut leading the listener into mysterious ways.
Na-Hag confirms the potential I originally discovered on the previous CD “Dreams Of A Sick Man”. There’re several real talented projects on X-Line and Na-Hag is definitely one out of them.
