about

Na-Hag is the project of Ukrainian artist Ruga Roo. Na-Hag is not the most familiar name active on the scene and yet it is a really impressive project dealing with magical tribal music. I can already tell you that the latest full length “Fragments Of Human” only confirmed the strong potential of Na-Hag.

There’s no real intro, just a heavy and punching debut made of sonic waves and icy sequences. “Die Die Die People Nation” sounds a bit like an industrial juxtaposition of The Klinik. The song progressively builds up a running crescendo until a final apotheosis emerging after more than 9 minutes. This overwhelming debut is just a teaser for what’s coming next. “Isstuplenie” shows the real face and sound of Na-Hag, which consists of pure industrial-trance and tribal music. This cut is absolutely mind-blowing and can be linked to the great This Morn’Omina.

The next few songs are absolutely amazing as well. Na-Hag perfectly knows how to create this typical and unique tribal-trance effect. The songs are quite elaborated in sound. “The Lowest Degree Of Intelligence” is a next potential hit of this release. We again get a transcendental piece of industrial-trance music made of raw sounds and heavy rhythms. The album finally ends in a very last climax mixing experimental, industrial and the tribal trademark of Na-Hag. The composition again progressively builds up until it reaches the ultimate point comparable to a sonic orgasm.

Conclusion: “Fragments Of Human” simply sounds like a musical shock! This project confirms its impressive potential and I can only incite you to discover this great project as soon as possible.

Best songs: “Isstuplenie”, “The Lowest Degree Of Intelligence, “Die Die Die People Nation”, “He Was Nobody”, “Absolute Despair”.

Rate: (DP:8/9)DP.
